Reflection 2

Well personally I think that DACA is a very good program its helps those children who come into the United States with their parents illegally. But even if Immigration happens to be a problem in the U.S any child that is in this country deserves a fair chance. Growing up  in San Francisco I knew a lot of classmates that were protected by DACA. But once Donald Trump became President everyone one those kids were and are afraid that they will be send back. This program should never be cut.

Not only would the dreamers be impacted by the DACA  but also the millions of immigrants that have build family's and careers. As the article "What the end of DACA would mean for immigrants , President Trump and major policy battles to come " says that the  U.S economy would be hit really hard. Thousand of immigrants hold jobs and if that program were to end and that could leave a griping hole for employers nationwide. That would be a huge risk that Trump should never take.

This not only impacts the dreamers and Immigration but also the U.S economy. According to  fortune.com,that if the President removed the DACA program than the U.S would reduce economic growth by 280 billion dollars. So its a clear choose that the DACA program should be part of the United States. So when Obama had created this program he had a clear plan in mind and if Trump destroys this program than it seems he will bring done the economic too.

  1. I fully agree with what you said. DACA needs to be established in America, and we need to protect the people who have grown up and lived in America to have a better life. They've worked hard to get where they're at today. The economy shouldn't identify them as a cost. But, as an important part of American society.
