Reflection 1

From the article the main piece that really stuck out was the Different Communication Styles. The world has many different cultures and  because of this it seems to produce many  occurring conflicts. The most often tends to be seen  through language. Most people that tend one track mind, believe that the way they communicate is the right way and because of that they don't care or not concern  with the way they caring them selves. Which  could cause conflicts betwee     n one another  . Such as a certain President that doesn't know how many other cultures work and doesn't know how to work well or communicate in a way that not going to cause trouble.  Sadly he doesn't even know how to communicate in the country that he is " in charge of " He tends not to communicate the best way for America's business which leads to conflicts.

Speaking of American Business the podcast that I was listening to was a great example of conflicts caused by language. The gentleman in the podcast explains that American business people came to discuss work with his people in Japan. There was a huge communication problem because they couldn't understand each other. One side spoke English and the other group spoke Japanese. That lead the teams to work of assumptions that was given by the American people. This conflict could have been resolved by addressing any gaps in understanding .

  1. I agree with your comment that the reason there are many conflicts is because the world has so many different cultures. I've never thought of it that way.
